Objective
The Course is designed to make candidates aware of the dangers involved in excavating on the public highway & private land. It will train delegates in the use of cable detection equipment and to detect and avoid most burried apparatus.  Background

Excavating can lead to the disruption and damage to services provided by underground cabling if it is not carried out safely and by trained operator.
It is important to avoid the risks and hazards when working in an area where underground services are.
All operators of digger machines should be trained and know how to use the relevant information, cable location devices and carry out or supervise the carrying out of safe excavation.

Participants must bring the following on the day of training:
1. Passport Photo
2. Current Safe Pass
3. Personal Protective Equipment
4. Evidence or Proof of experience (Over six months) i.e. Letter from employer
Participants must be aged 18 years or over
