Objective
To train participants in the correct and safe use of operating a chain saw in variety of environments and industries.
Background
The chain saw is a time saving and efficient power tool. It can be unforgiving and lethal, however, causing injury or death in the hands of a uninformed and unaware operator.
Because of their versatility and wide application acorss many industries, chain saws operators must be properly trained and aware of possible safety and health hazards in environments.
Maintenance and upkeep of a chainsaw is also a key responsiblity for a chainsaw operator and again - correct training is essential.

Participants must bring the following on the day of training:
1. Passport Photo
2. Current Safe Pass is advisable
3. Personal Protective Equipment
Participants must be aged 18 years or over
