360º Excavator

Objective
To provide instruction and training so that participants can be successfully certified in the safe use of a 360 Excavator, in keeping with regulations.  Background

The 360° excavator is a large, complicated and expensive machine which is dependant upon the operator for correct and safe operation.
It is usually performing an important major operation so there is no room for errors. For the same reason the operator should be totally aware of possible dangers and dangerous situations for himself, others and the machine.
Operators must learn, understand, and utilise correctly the basic skills of checking and operating the machine. Maintenance also plays a bit part in the safety and reliability of the machine, the operator must understand how to fully maintain his/her machine.  Course Content:

On the 3rd day of the course participants are given a log book. After 6 months further experience under the supervision of a CSCS ticket holder of the same category, they must pass a 1 day assessment to achieve CSCS card and FETAC Certification
Participants must bring the following on the day of training:
1. Passport Photo
2. Current Safe Pass
3. Personal Protective Equipment
4. Evidence or Proof of experience (Over six months) i.e. Letter from employer
Participants must be aged 18 years or over
